Blanc Aperitif

Lillet is a range of refreshing aperitifs with a smooth fruity taste. The main grape variety in Lillet Blanc is Semillon which gives it a full fleshy structure. Lillet Blanc is similar to sauternes. Its color is a golden shining yellow. It is flowery with a hint of honey and aromas of candied orange pine resin lime and fresh mint. Its taste is fresh bold and fruity with an appealing aroma intensity and lingering aftertaste. Lillet is the only wine-based aperitif a blend of 85% wine and 15% citrus liqueurs produced in Bordeaux France. The wines are carefully selected in the Podensac area and the citrus liqueurs are produced by cold macerating fruit peels in pure distilled spirits for several months. Following the Bordelaise tradition Lillet is aged in oak so that it acquires its soft and rich character.
